Zamrest Mining Limited (hereafter referred to as ZML) is an existing business,The company is involved in mining and in the trade of various products and commodities, mainly gold, copper, cobalt, lead ore, zinc ore, tin ore, beryllium ore, lithium ore, and other precious and base metals. All metals are purchased under long-term agreements with local suppliers (off-taken and joint venture agreements) to ensure that these local companies grow their business, expand, and create more sustainable jobs.

In the first year, the company’s main focus was trading and subsequently investing in the local mines and processing plants to ensure their development and to support the local economy. ZML has therefore incorporated a local (Zambian) shareholder as a gesture of empowering locals and demonstrating its long-term commitment to the country.

The company also trades in agro-processed and agricultural products such as colza crude oil, sunflower oil (refined and crude), sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, soybean crude and refined oil, soybeans, raw coffee beans, and raw chili. Further, ZML is also a fully licensed importer, distributor, and exporter of petroleum products such as fuel (Diesel, Petrol, Gas, Jet Fuel, and Heavy Fuel Oils).
